How to Get a Google Adsense Account Approval ?

Part 1
Increasing Approval Chances
  1. 1
Own a website. You'll need to pay for your own website domain (e.g., yourwebsite.com) rather than using free hosting. If you try to set up a free website that uses another website's domain extension (e.g., yourwebsite.wordpress.com), you'll most likely be prompted to complete the AdSense setup on that website's ad page.
    • Most free website providers (e.g., Weebly, Wix, WordPress, etc.) have a paid upgrade that allows you to set your own domain rather than using the provider's extension.
    • Skip this step if you're just trying to set up AdSense for YouTube.
  2. 2
Reach at least 10,000 channel views on YouTube. YouTube's minimum requirement for AdSense consideration is that you have at least 10,000 channel views. These views can all be on one video, or they can be spread out across videos.
    • Skip this step if you're trying to set up AdSense for a website.
  3. 3
Make sure that your content is appropriate. Google AdSense won't approve your website if it hosts controversial content (e.g., hate speech, nudity, graphic violence, etc.), especially in the light of YouTube ad restrictions.
  4. 4
Post original content. AdSense is much more likely to approve your content if it's 100 percent original. This means that articles, videos, and/or visual media that you post must come from you.
    • It's okay to link to other sites or content as long as the link itself is part of an original post.
  5. 5
Avoid copyrighted content. Even if you own a copyrighted song or a video, posting it may dissuade AdSense from approving your request.
  6. 6
Organize your content. Using headers, bullet points, and other organizational methods when writing on a website will clean up your content, making it much more appealing to Google than if your content is unformatted.
    • On YouTube, using this same level of detail in your videos' description boxes will increase Google's positive perception of your channel.
  7. 7
Create multiple website pages. If you're trying to get a website approved, make sure that you have an "About" page, a "Contact" page, and a "Disclaimers" page in addition to the default "Home" page.
  8. 8
Post content often. Aside from hosting hate speech, nothing will cause AdSense to reject your claim like having an inactive website or channel. Make sure that you're uploading frequently (at least once per week), and that each piece content is distinguishable from other posts on your site or channel.

Part 2
Applying for a YouTube AdSense Account

  1. 1
Open YouTube. Go to https://www.youtube.com/ in your preferred browser. This will open your home page if you're logged into YouTube.
    • If you aren't logged into YouTube, click SIGN IN and enter the email address and password for the account that you want to use for AdSense.
  2. 2
Click your profile icon. It's in the upper-right corner of the page. A drop-down menu will appear.
  3. 3
Click Creator Studio. This option is in the drop-down menu.
  4. 4
Click CHANNEL. It's a tab on the left side of the page.
  5. 5
Find the "Monetization" section. You'll find this square section near the middle of the page.
  6. 6
Click Enable. It's in the bottom-right corner of the "Monetization" box.
  7. 7
Agree to YouTube's monetization terms. Click START to the right of the top section on this page, check all of the boxes at the bottom of the pop-up window (you can uncheck the "Email me" box if you like), and click I accept in the bottom-right corner.
  8. 8
Click START to the right of AdSense. This is the blue button in the middle of the page.
  9. 9
Click Next. It's in the bottom-left side of the page.
  10. 10
Select your YouTube Google account. Click the Google account that belongs to the YouTube channel that you want to use.
  11. 11
Enter your AdSense information. To do so:
    • Leave the "URL of your site" text field blank.
    • Check the "Yes" or "No" box under "Get more out of AdSense".
    • Click the "Select a country" box and then click your current country.
    • Check the "Yes, I have read and accept the agreement" box.
  12. 12
Click CREATE ACCOUNT. Doing so creates an AdSense account for your YouTube channel.

Part 3
Applying for a General AdSense Account

  1. 1
Open the Google AdSense page. This is the page you'll go to in order to sign up for AdSense.
  2. 2
Select a Google account. Click the Google account with which you want to use AdSense.
    • If you aren't signed into a Google account, enter your account's email address and password before proceeding.
    • To select an account not listed, click Use another account and then enter your email address and password.
  3. 3
Enter your website's address. Copy your website's address and paste it into the "URL of your site" text field.
  4. 4
Determine whether or not to receive AdSense updates. In the "Get more out of AdSense" section, either check the "Yes" box to receive helpful emails from Google or check the "No" box to block the emails.
  5. 5
Select a country. Click the "Country or territory" drop-down box, then click your country's (or region's) name in the resulting drop-down menu.
  6. 6
Check the "Yes, I have read and accept the agreement" box. It's near the bottom of the page.
  7. 7
Click CREATE ACCOUNT. It's a blue button at the bottom of the page. This will create an AdSense account for your Google account.
    • If you don't own your website (e.g., you use a ".wordpress.com" or similar domain), you'll most likely need to select a blue CONTINUE TO button at the bottom of the form and complete the on-screen instructions.

Part 4
Entering Payment Details

  1. 1
Go to the AdSense home page. You should be redirected to the home page automatically; if you aren't, go to https://www.google.com/adsense/ in your browser.
  2. 2
Click GET STARTED when prompted. It'll appear in the middle of the page.
  3. 3
Enter your location details. Type your street address into the "Address line 1" text field, then enter your city, state, ZIP, and phone number in the appropriately labeled fields.
  4. 4
Click SUBMIT. It's at the bottom of the page.
  5. 5
Check the "Text message" box. It's at the top of the page. This option will allow Google to send a verification code to your phone number via a text message.
  6. 6
Click GET VERIFICATION CODE. Doing so will prompt Google to send a verification text to your phone number.
  7. 7
Retrieve your verification code. Open your phone's texting app, open the text from Google (this will usually be a five-digit phone number), and review the six-digit confirmation code in the text.
  8. 8
Enter your verification code. Type your code into the text field in the middle of the page.
  9. 9
Click SUBMIT. Doing so will complete the AdSense setup. You will need to wait for at least a day before Google gets back to you with a confirmation.
    • If creating a YouTube AdSense account, you may receive an error that says "We couldn't redirect you to your host". If so, go back to https://www.google.com/adsense/signup, select your account, and click ACCEPT ASSOCIATION.
